32 Weeks

I am a bit late on my 32 week update- our internet was down earlier this week and things have just been busy! I had my 32 week appointment on Thursday which included another growth ultrasound. The best news of the appointment was that baby has flipped to head down and will hopefully stay that way now! I definitely could feel when the flipping happened and it looked like an alien was invading my stomach! I'm glad Baby 2.0 figured out where the exit is and made his/her way down!
The ultrasound went well and baby had a strong heartbeat of 151. They did a study of the cord flow and it looked good as well. Baby's total estimated weight is 3 lbs 12 oz which puts it at the 35th percentile. This is down from the 47th percentile 4 weeks ago. The head is measuring about a week ahead and the abdomen about 2 weeks behind putting it at the 18th percentile.
My OB said the numbers indicate that the baby will probably be small but he isn't worried. I came home and took a look at the numbers from when I was pregnant with Ella and it looks like she started slipping between 34-36 weeks. I plan to ask my doctor about this at my next appointment and see if he thinks it could possibly be something that is happening with this baby as well.
As you know I love to set mini goals for myself as the pregnancy progresses. I have 1 and a half weeks of school left before Winter Break and at that point I will be 34 weeks so that is my next goal. I am really looking forward to having a good week and a half break from work over Christmas. My next appointment will be the last day of work before break and it will just be a quick appointment to check blood pressure, weight and urine. After that, I will go again at 36 weeks and then weekly from then on! I will update after my next appointment.
Here are comparison pictures from this pregnancy and my pregnancy with Ella at 32 weeks!
