Labor Day

Ah... a three day weekend! I really needed one of these! It is so nice to know that it is Sunday night and I don't have to go to work tomorrow. We have had a good weekend so far. Watched the Hawks in their opening game on Saturday and got some errands run. Today we went down to see Jeff's parents at their lake house in Sun Valley. Ella had a blast and would have stayed in the lake all day I think if we let her. Unfortunately I wasn't feeling the greatest and ended up having to go in the basement to rest for awhile. It is frustratign when I get really sick out of the blue, especially after having a good few days. The good news is that I have been really thirsty and drinking a lot more the past few days! Thursday and Friday I drank 32 oz both days! I think drinking the water helps me feel better than even getting it in the IVs. I'm not sure why but I felt better those two days than I had in a long time. I am hoping if I can keep up the increased fluid intake, my doctor will give me the all clear in two weeks to go back down to one bag a day. I would LOVE that. The two bags a day are just really starting to wear on me. A couple of days this past week, we had some malfunctions with my pump and ended up wasting 45 minutes each time which really frustrated me since I'm already hooked up enough as it is! So for now, I am going to tell myself that I need to get through this week and next with two bags and then hopefully I will be down to one! My nurse will be here Tuesday so I will update when I hear back about levels...
